To facilitate and encourage a participatory process of change and development, of the poor, with the poor and in favor of the poor thereby empowering them for their fuller growth and participation.

Our Vision

To establish an egalitarian society, where, citizens enjoy human rights without discrimination and live a dignified life in mutual cooperation.

Core Activities

Sahyogi has been involved in organizing Women Against Violence. GHaR (Gharelu Hinsa Roko) – A campaign on Domestic Violence. Intervention on Child rights issue in its target area. National Environment Awareness Campaign.

Message From Leaders

Sahyogi has been emerging as an effective advocate of unheard voice and un-served. It has been amplifying the voices of those who are contributing in the developmental process but are still at its brink. It has started organizing them to help in emerging as pressure group. This year we have created a cadder base who are in action to promote inclusion and equity in access to govt. programmes. The community leaders have been creating conducive environment and enabling social structure and delivery structure to respond the need and interest of target community. The year 2011-12 has seen Sahyogi focusing strongly on issues of Women Empowerment and Violence against women. During the year Sahyogi has started working on a different issue social security and addressing the issues with awareness generation and insurance promotion.

Leadership

The organization is being leaded by two experienced, dynamic young people curious mix of activist and professional from its target group, who are the founder members of the organization. Leaders have long time experience in development sector. Sahyogi has been involved in organizing Women Against Violence. GHaR (Gharelu Hinsa Roko) – A campaign on Domestic Violence.
